Information we process
The Chemical Plate processes meal descriptions, uploaded food or label images, molecule images or sketches, analysis history saved on your device, and account information you provide. Signed-in users may save food logs and profile details.
How information is used
Inputs are used to produce the requested nutrition or chemistry analysis, maintain saved records, operate account access, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability. Do not upload confidential, identifying, or medically sensitive material.
Analysis services and reference data
Analysis may use AI processing and reference services including FatSecret, USDA FoodData Central, and PubChem. Their systems may receive the minimum query data required to return a result.
Storage and control
Tool history is stored locally in your browser. Account food logs and profile data are stored in the application database. You may clear local history in each tool and delete individual food-log records from the Dashboard.
